# preshutdown

`service::preshutdown` pre-shuts down a specified service by sending a `SERVICE_CONTROL_PRESHUTDOWN` signal. It has the following command line argument:

* positional argument: the name of the service to shutdown

mimikatz # service::shutdown bits
```
